To prepare shakshuka, the first step is to get a skillet and heat the oil. Start cooking the onions, for about 5 to 10 minutes. Include the jalapeno pepper and the bell pepper, while also letting the whole mix cook for 3 to 5 more minutes. Finish off by pouring the tomato paste and garlic. After 2 minutes you can add the tomatoes, sugar, paprika, bay leaf, salt, caraway, pepper. Leave the shakshuka simmer for 20 minutes.
When the time is up, top it off with the Swiss chard and start adding the eggs one by one. Cover the skillet, let it cook for 10 minutes and the tasty dish is done.
