Creating a guest list is one of the most stressful parts of any wedding and it’s even harder for micro-weddings because you’re limited to the number of people that can come. The good news is that people can’t really get offended if they aren’t invited to your micro-wedding because the pandemic limits how many people can attend. Once you narrow down your guest list, send invites two to three months before your big day.

Set a Budget

With any wedding, before you get to planning, you need to set a budget. While micro-weddings are usually cheaper than regular ones because there are fewer people, it doesn’t mean that you have to have a budget wedding. You can spend the money you save on decorations, flowers, hair and makeup, your dress, or a band.

The first step in overcoming post-wedding depression is to accept that it’s a totally normal thing. It happens to many couples as the result of all the attention and planning you’ve experienced over the last few weeks or months.

Plan your honeymoon

Start planning your honeymoon, if you want to slowly transition to your normal life. This way you’ll prolong the excitement for a few more weeks and won’t have time to feel depressed.

Find new goals

Once all of this is over start focusing on all the things you look forward to in the future. If you can’t think of any, make them – learning a new language, finding a new hobby or redecorating your place are all fun ways to distract yourself and leave depression behind.
