What is Bullet Journaling?

Bullet journaling is a form of journaling and organizing that centers tracking at its core value. This can be tracking behaviors, tasks, or whatever you feel you want to get some real data about. But, the way to track this information is through really fun, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing designs. Bullet journaling will help you become a more productive person, and if you use it on a daily basis, you can really change and grow.

The Journal

Many companies offer already designed bullet journal, but if you want to make your own it’s actually not that hard. You can make your bullet journal as elaborate or simple as you want, depending on your craft level and your motivations. While some bullet journals just have a simple monthly calendar and then a tracker to mark off each task every day, some can go way beyond that.

What to Track?

What to track and how to do it is totally up to you. If you want to track something like water consumption, you can draw some glasses of water or drops of water at the top of the page, number it with the days of the month and fill in the days of the week and then put an “x” or some form of color to mark what you’ve accomplished. At the end of the week and month, you can see how much water you drunk every day, see patterns, etc.
