You can never get enough of cheesecakes. The one that’s been trending on Instagram is the creamy cheesecake that is absolutely delicious to look at.
Ingredients:
The recipe is divided into two parts. The first one is the ingredients for the crust which include 3 tablespoons sugar, 1 3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs, 4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter and a pinch of salt. For the cheesecake, you need 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1 1/3 cups sugar, 2 pounds cream cheese, 4 large eggs, 1 1/3 cups sour cream, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Instructions:
Start with the crust by getting a springform pan that is 2 3/4 inches high. Get a bowl and mix the sugar, crumbs, and salt. Add the butter and mix very well. You can now put the dough on the bottom of the pan, and also take it up to the side, reaching one half of the height. Bake it for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. When you take it out, reduce the heat to 325.
It’s time to make the cheesecake part. Use a mixer to beat the cream cheese for four minutes. In the meantime put a kettle of water and wait for it to boil. When you’ve beaten the cream cheese, start adding the salt and sugar, and continue beating. Include the vanilla and the eggs one at a time. In the end, add the heavy cream.
Wrap the springform pan with foil and put it inside a larger roasting pan. Pour the batter inside the pan, fill it up the top. Pour the boiling water in the roasting pan to reach half the height of the springform pan. Bake the creamy cheesecake for 1 hour and 30 minutes. When the time is up, leave it for one more hour in the water. Let it cool down for four hours.
