Just hearing the word “concealer” makes a lot of people cringe. This is mainly because concealers, when applied, usually settle in the lines and creases under the eyes. Because of this, anyone who has dark circles under the eyes doesn’t want to use this product.

Of course, this doesn’t have to be the case. In fact, you can apply concealer to hide those dark circles and all you need are 3 simple steps!

1. Draw the guidelines

With a small concealer brush, draw a letter “V” under your eyes. For best results, use a creamy concealer with hydrating properties. Then don’t fill the middle of the guidelines. Also, don’t connect the lines to form a triangle. This will make the area look cakey or heavy.

2. Blend it

Use a small, damp sponge to blend the concealer. Dab and roll your sponge inwards until you’ve seamlessly filled the area in.

3. Set the concealer

This step is important so your concealer won’t slide off or settle into the fine lines under your eyes. Use a translucent powder to set your concealer lightly.

With a clean and fluffy eyeshadow brush, gently swirl and sweep the area under your eyes until you’ve blended the loose powder completely.
