Basic Tips to Remove Paint From Metal

Removing paint from metal is a real struggle, especially if you don’t know the right tips. You might even spend days cleaning the paint, and you’ll end up destroying the metal surfaces. In order to avoid any mistakes, you can try out these tricks.

Try Boiling Water

This is a very effective way, and the important thing we have to mention is that it does not include any chemicals. Simply boil the water, and place the metal object in it. Leave it for 15 minutes, and wait. Grab your scraper and start removing the paint. It will be easy, especially if the paint was done in only one layer. If it’s small stains, you don’t even have to worry about them. They’ll be out in minutes.

Water and Baking Soda

Another very simple method is water mixed with baking soda. To remove paint from metal, you will need to do almost the same procedure as before. Prepare a pot, fill it with water and baking soda. Leave the metal object in the pot. Wait for the water to simmer, and leave it on for half an hour. Once you take the item out, the paint will start to peel off very easily.
