Celebrities as we know typically ask assistance from professional stylists on their looks during special occasions. However, not all celebrities need help with styling themselves. There are some who are fearless when it comes to dressing up. Check these celebrities who don’t use stylists.

Blake Lively

At an event at Barneys in New York, Blake Lively decided to style herself on her own without getting any help. “Probably because I have control issues and a big ego—that’s probably the honest answer,” she puns, then explains “I just like it. I love design and I love fashion and it’s a way to be creative. In my job, I get to be creative, but it’s over a period of time and so many other people are involved, whereas this is a beginning, middle, and end, and I get to be creative and there’s an end date in the near future. It’s the same reason why I like doing my friends’ hair and makeup or cooking—you get to be creative and finish it. Whereas with my job you do it and then two years later it’s finished. It probably goes back to the control issues; it’s like, ‘Ok I did it, I completed it, it’s done!’”

Olivia Munn

She told People in 2012 that she can’t dress herself. “But the only reason I don’t use a stylist is that I feel like if I’m going to fall, I’d rather it be on me,” she added.

“I don’t like the idea of paying people to tell me that something looks good,” she gave a statement to Elle in 2009. “If I don’t feel it myself, why would I wear it?”

Diane Kruger

“I still style myself. For the red carpet, I often borrow dresses from designers though because that’s easier in a way,” she said. “You give it back and you don’t have to go shopping for it.”
