Confirmed: Beauty Sleep is Not a Myth

If you don’t get enough sleep, not only you’ll feel bad the next day, but you also won’t look your best. Science has finally confirmed it: beauty sleep is a real thing.

Besides genetics, food we eat, stress, and other well-known factors, proper sleep is another important element of looking your best.

A research done in Stockholm’s Karolinska Institute proved that people looked obviously sleep-deprived after not sleeping for 31 hours. They looked pale, sad, and overall less attractive. Sleep deprivation also causes other health risks, such as increased risk of depression and diabetes.
