Halo lights is the hot new hair coloring trend which you need to try.
Forget highlights and lowlights, halo lights is the new coloring technique that all the celebs are trying. It is a technique to emphasize the style of your hair by lightening the tone of the top layers of hair to highlight the cut.
Jason Hogan, Associate and Celebrity Colourist at Josh Wood Colour says of the trend: “Celestial threads of color are placed around the halo section to create show-stopping blonde. This ring of light keeps your color dimensional, high-impact and ethereal, while also adding volume & lift.”
He adds: “The placement of this color and the way it blends from the natural hair means it grows out seamlessly,” says Josh. “It also looks as good in an updo as it does worn down”.
The trend is in its early days but we reckon it will be a key coloring trend in 2019. Right now, Chloe Moretz is our halo lights inspo. The coloring along with texturing and a little product create a gorgeous, voluminous look.
