Makeup Applications Most People Do Wrong

Doing makeup is really an art form. It takes a lot of patience, skill, and practice to perfect. However, if you aren’t so artistic, there are some easy ways for you to improve your makeup skills. In the end, you will have a better, more even looking face with almost no extra effort.

Prime Your Face

A lot of people forget to put on primer before their foundation, which is the biggest mistake you can make. A primer is essentially a type of moisturizer that not only makes your makeup last longer but since the makeup isn’t sitting directly on the face it looks much smoother and more natural.

Tap Not Smear

Whether you’re putting on foundation or concealer, you never want to just smear everything onto your face. It will look less natural and in the end, you want it to look as much like your actual face as possible. Instead, tap the makeup onto your face with a beauty blender so it just covers it.

Brushes

Whether it’s for blush, eyeshadow, or bronzer, you need to use clean and separate brushes for everything! If you’re using a dark eyeshadow and then a light one if you don’t switch out your brush the colors will absolutely look completely different.
