Fleas can strike on anytime, and usually, it is hard getting rid of them, even if you are using an expensive, high-quality repellent. However, there is a great, home-made shampoo that will keep fleas off of your pet and out of your home. The amazing thing about this easy-to-make flea repellent is that it is pet-safe, environment-friendly and that it will definitely save you some extra bucks.
Supplies You Need:
- ½ cup of water
- 4 tbs dish soap
- 4 tbs of white vinegar (you can use apple cider vinegar, as well)
- 1 container
The Process:
The first step is to pour the water into the container. Then add the dish soap and lastly, pour the vinegar into the jar.
Mix it all together and your shampoo is done! Apply it gently onto your dog, but make sure you protect their eyes.
Let it sit for 5 minutes and while you are waiting, run a fine tooth-comb through their fur to get any dead or alive fleas out.
Wash off the shampoo with warm water, however, make sure you got all the dish soap out. Comb and dry your dog as usual.
