Here’s what I do. . 🧽I fill a spray bottle 1/3-1/2 way with #alltlemoninfusedvinegar (Click the tag to see how I make it). Then I top with @berkey_filters water. Close. Shake. Go. . ⛰Vinegar isn’t suggested for use on granite. For that I’d add a few Tbs rubbing alcohol and a squirt of @drbronner Castile soap to a spray bottle and top with water. Close. Shake. Go. 🌿 DIY cleaner; repost from @chelseahennard 🌿 ・・・ Infused vinegar offers way prettier colors than Windex blue. I love getting started on new batches of vinegar infusions — especially when that means we’re no longer using windex at our Air BNB. I’ve been refilling our lavender + lime and our orange + rosemary for weeks now, but this last weekend, I added some lemon to the mix so I could have plenty for both our home and the rental. If you have never infused vinegar before, or you just aren’t a huge fan of the smell of vinegar, it’s super simple to do. Grab a sterilized jar, the produce or herbs of choice, and your choice of vinegar — I use distilled white vinegar, but you can also use apple cider. Add your produce/herbs to jar and pour vinegar over them. Cover and place in a cool dark place for 3-4 weeks! That’s it! Once it’s done infusing, you can use it for a multitude of household cleaning — I use it for our all purpose cleaner, laundry fabric softener, and rinse aid for our dishes. So multifunctional! We feel like we run our dishwasher every day…because we do! We love to meal prep, DIY, and experiment in the kitchen and that leads to lots of dirty dishes. Anyone else feel our pain? And when we were using the detergent pods, we were having to run the dishwasher twice as much because half the time it didn't fully burst and we had to start all over! . Grab a clean spray bottle, fill it with one cup of hot water, a 1/2 cup of vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon of dish soap and 20 drops of lemon essential oil. Give it a good shake and you are ready to use it.

Hardwood Floor Cleaner

Hardwood floors are very delicate and sensitive, so it is very important to properly take care of them. Mix 2 cups of water, ½ cup of white vinegar and ½ teaspoon of dish soap, shake it good and spray it onto your floor, use a flat-head mop and swipe in a W pattern.

Soap Scum Preventer

There is an easy method for preventing soap scum from forming on your bathtub and tiles. Mix ½ cup of water with one cup of white vinegar, add 20 drops of tea tree essential oil. Give it a good shake and spritz it in your shower.

After you get all the ingredients, find a jar or a bottle where you’ll keep the dishwasher detergent. Also get a large bowl, to prepare it in. Hardwood floors are very delicate and sensitive, so it is very important to properly take care of them. Mix 2 cups of water, ½ cup of white vinegar and ½ teaspoon of dish soap, shake it good and spray it onto your floor, use a flat-head mop and swipe in a W pattern.

Soap Scum Preventer

There is an easy method for preventing soap scum from forming on your bathtub and tiles. Mix ½ cup of water with one cup of white vinegar, add 20 drops of tea tree essential oil. Give it a good shake and spritz it in your shower.
