You can actually make a SCOBY at home as long as you have a bottle of organic plain kombucha. First, bring 7 cups of water to a boil, and then add in 4 bags of organic black tea. Turn off the heat, add in 1/2 cup of sugar, stir, and let brew for 10 minutes. Then, once it’s cool, pour it into a jar along with the bottle of kombucha. Cover it with a cheesecloth or anything like it, put it in a dark place, and in 1-4 weeks there will be a SCOBY ready for you to use!

]]>2 2oz bottles kombucha (you can do a classic flavor or ginger)
1-inch slice fresh ginger
1/2 cup 100% cranberry juice
1 large sprig fresh rosemary
fresh cranberries.
For the garnish, you can also get more fresh rosemary and ginger slices.
To make the refreshing kombucha mocktail you will only need 10 minutes.
Since the recipe is meant for 4 servings you can prepare 4 old-fashioned glasses. You will also need a large pitcher.
Start by muddling the ginger and rosemary. If you don’t have a muddler at home, a large spoon should do the job. When you’re done, pour the kombucha and cranberry juice. Mix all the ingredients together.
Fill the four glasses with ice. You can now officially serve the drink. Garnish the mocktail with fresh cranberries, ginger slices, and rosemary. This is a very refreshing drink and you’ll love it, even if you’re not the biggest fan of kombucha.
