This limited-edition line celebrates 25 years of the Queen of Tejano Music’s legacy, and it’s the second time that her family has collaborated with this beauty brand since 2016.
Their first partnership with the Quintanilla family was an instant best-seller, and it was just a matter of time before they joined forces again. According to the singer’s sister Suzette, this collection will have “the holographic feel” and it’s expected to feature a brand-new highlighter, and Bidi Bidi Bom Bom lip-gloss from the first Selena line.
“Sitting with MAC team before the first Selena collection, I had an amazing idea to celebrate my sister’s 25th anniversary when the time came. And now, we’re making it happen!” said Suzette Quintanilla in a press release.

Demie broke into the spotlight thanks to the role of Maddy Perez on Euphoria and she took an active part in creating some of her most iconic beauty looks. She’s now in charge of fronting MAC’s “More Than Meets the Eye” collection, featuring new and revamped formulas for eyes, including eye shadows and brow gels.
This collaboration hits close to home for Demie since she’s been around makeup from her early days, thanks to her mom who just happens to be a former MAC makeup artist.
“My mom used to work at MAC – I think that was her first job – and she would bring me there as a little girl all the time. I remember she had to do a 10-minute crazy editorial makeup look in front of the entire store to get the job and she used me as her model,” Demie told Elle.

]]>Our favorite cosmetics brand rocked our world when they announced a collaboration with R&B legend Mary J. Blige, but it quickly turned out her light pinky nude shade is only the first in the long series.
Chantel Miller, New York-based MAC Director of senior artists, recently revealed what we can expect from their upcoming collection and really got us hyped for “Love Me” lipsticks.
“This season, the backstage lip was nothing but lush. To get there, it’s no longer about just a single lip swipe, but rather a crafted lip – emboldening the feature by using pencils and even glosses to amplify contrast,” said Miller in a statement.
The “Love Me” collection will feature a total of 24 shades, created by six beauty inventors who tried to capture self-empowerment, joy, and zest for life with each one.
We can’t wait to see what they came up with when this collection becomes available online and in select MAC stores on August 1st.
