White eyeliner is trending this season and it looks gorgeous.
We first spotted the bold makeup move back in February when Pati Dubroff shared this gorgeous photo of Margot Robbie. The look caught the attention of fans and proved that white truly can have a brightening effect on eyes.
“It’s the perfect look for Spring – light, translucent and a fresh punctuation point for the face,” makeup artist Christabel Draffin explained to Glamour.
“The brightening effects work on any skin tone, but look spectacular set against darker skin tones,” she continued. “It doesn’t need to be perfectly symmetrical, you can get away with it being a little off.”
Draffin added: “The look doesn’t provide as much definition as black drawn close to the eyes, so give the face dimension with defined lashes.”
We agree with Draffin that the look works best with thick, black lashes. The contrast here is truly stunning.
