Humidifiers can be bulky and expensive, and if you need some extra humidity in your home, these are some great natural options!
Curtains
If you have curtains in your house, you have an easy way to add some extra humidity to your home! All you have to do is spray them with just a bit of water so they’re a bit damp, and as they dry, the water will evaporate and add moisture to the room.
Drying Rack
Similar to curtains, when you hang up wet clothes on a drying rack, the water will remain in the air and give it moisture as the clothes dry. This is not only a great way to add humidity to your room, but also it’s much more eco-friendly than using a dryer! And will save you money by not using your dryer.
Sponge
This is a great little hack if you want to make a quick humidifier. Take a large freezer bag and poke some holes in it. Then, wet a sponge so it’s damp but not actually dripping. You might need to ring it out first. Put the sponge in the bag, hang it in whatever room you need, as many as you need, and you’ll have an instant humidifier!
