If you want to buy something for yourself, go to that fancy restaurant you never thought you could afford, or even buy a plane ticket, go for it in 2019! Having these kinds of goals makes saving a lot more meaningful and you can feel yourself actually working towards something everyday.

Get a New Hobby

Making new friends and learning something new is a great way to keep your mind and body sharp, so try out a new hobby! Whether that’s adult gymnastics or a pottery class, take one evening out of the week to comitt to something new.

Bring Extra Clothes to Work

A lot of times, once you go home it’s hard to motivate yourself to go back out to meet friends or do anything. Instead, bring a change of clothes to work and go straight to your activities from work so you have no excuse not to go.
