Malaysia is heaven for foodies. This country offers so many mind-boggling dishes that you will have a really hard time going back home. Even if you don’t like experimenting with food, this country will make it so hard for you not to try everything. These are the top Malaysian street foods that everyone has to get.

Cendol

Cendol is a tasty dessert with the coolest colors ever. It is a bowl of coconut milk with added plants. It is prepared in a special traditional way.

Nasi Lemak

Nasi lemak is one of the best Malaysian street foods that is also a recognizable traditional meal. This dish features rice, usually chicken, anchovies, peanuts, and eggs. It is quite a satisfying combo which you can also get in restaurants.

It’s characteristically crispy (without all that burnt batter) and bursting with the aromatic zest of galangal, turmeric and lemongrass, but dude, where’s the luscious juice in the fried chicken? ― Don’t get us wrong, it’s delicious and tender-soft but its texture is unusually drier than expected and lacks the kind of juiciness that dribbles down your fingers as you tear it apart with your hands. How did they get THAT texture so consistent? Lok Lok
