Ok, so the title of this article is a little misleading. Cosmetic tattooing is not an entirely new trend. People have been tattooing on their eyebrows and eyeliner for a while now and recently lip-liner has been on the cosmetic tattooing menu too.
Now though, you can get your concealer tattood to hide dark under-eye circles. The procedure is permanent so you never have to bother with applying concealer again.
The procedure is being developed by Brazillian tattoo artist,
Rodolpho Torres. Speaking to Spa + Clinic Australia, he explained: “It’s not micro pigmentation, it’s a tattoo,” he explains. “You can live a normal life and expose it to sunlight knowing that your skin will not become stained, because the tattoo pigments approved by Anvisa give us this security.”
Would you get this bizarre new trend? The results look great but the thought of a cosmetic tattoo gun getting that near our eyes is terrifying.
