Charlotte Tilbury is releasing a new lipstick line that makes a real statement.
The beauty goddess learned of women living in conflict zones who wore lipstick as a form of passive rebellion. The lipstick was a symbol of their womanhood and defiance.
Tilbury was inspired by these stories and began working with Women for Women International, an organization dedicated to helping women in war-torn countries rebuilt their lives.
This collaboration led Timbury to create “Hot Lips,” a lipstick range that is committed to the Women for Women cause.
It has been three years since the launch, but this year, she will be launching a new collection and pledges to donate £1 ($1.25) million from sales to the charity.
“I have seen the most incredible, heart-warming change from our work with the charity so far,” Tilbury shared. “To date, we have raised enough to fund over 350 women through Women for Women International’s training program. I hope that with this magical £1 million donation, we will reach even more women and change even more lives across the world.”
The new Hot Lips 2 collection will launch on June 20th and will be made available for purchase here.
