Get the Most Bang for your Buck with Perfumes

Everyone likes to smell nice, but that can often come at a price. If you love a certain designer’s scent but don’t want to empty your wallet completely, there are some easy ways for you to get the perfume you want but not break the bank. One good trick to making it last is by putting a small dab of petroleum jelly on your wrist before your spray so the scent lasts longer.

Types of Perfumes

There are tons of variations of perfumes, but these are the most popular for women: parfum, which is the strongest and purest scent, eau de parfum, which is the next highest concentrate of the smell, eau de toilette, which normally has a small percentage of the scent in the bottle. When you’re buying your perfume, check the bottle to see what type of perfume it is because the higher the concentration, the longer the scent and the perfume overall will last.

Duty-Free

If you ever travel abroad, visit the duty-free store and pick up your perfume there! Because there’s no tax, you will often save a lot of money compared to what you would buy from a department store. Although from a department store you might get a small gift, it’s better to actually save the money for your next perfume purchase.
