Great Eco-Friendly Gift Wrap Ideas

It’s time to forget about shiny wrapping paper and plastic ribbons that, in most cases, aren’t even recyclable, and to adopt more eco-friendly gift wrapping habits. There are many ways you can make your presents as sophisticated and beautiful, and these are only a few of them.

Old paper

Give your presents a romantic rustic vibe by wrapping them in old newspapers, pages of old books or magazines used wrapping paper or any other paper for that matter. Using your creativity can look surprisingly good, plus you’ll be saving the planet.

Hallo, fröhliche Weihnachtsgesellschaft. Hört mal! So typisches Geschenkpapier hat irgendwie kein sehr fröhliches Leben, oder? Eingepackt, ausgepackt, ab in den Müll. Also le Papier. Use old shirts, dish towels, scarves, leftover satin, lace, and other fabric to wrap your gifts. It’s a creative way to give them a personal touch and amaze your friends, plus it’s an eco-friendly way to get rid of all the unnecessary fabrics you have in your home.

Continuing my little series of eco tips but with a Christmas twist, Tip no.6 for low waste living is to wrap your gifts as sustainably as possible.
