Jennifer Lopez surprised her fans with the announcement that she’s about to perform at the Super Bowl Half Time Show, but this wasn’t the only exciting news she had. Only a few hours later, she revealed her brand new fragrance called “Promise”.
J.Lo is known as a big fan of fragrances and she already released 24 perfumes such as “Glow” and “Live”. She says that Warren Buffett’s words inspired her to come up with a perfect name for the fragrance.
“He told me something that resonated with me. He said, ‘a brand is a promise’. And I just feel like everything that I put out into the world has to be a promise,” J.Lo said during her NYC pop-up launch event.
“We have to have promises with ourselves. It’s really the foundation that keeps us going. It really made me think about life in a bigger way.”
The perfume includes dreamy notes of Italian tangerine, pink berries, nashi pear, and crystallized amber, which sound like a promising combination that every woman would like to wear.
The fragrance comes in three sizes and it will be available online at Ulta Beauty and in stores on September 28.
