The Supplies:
• old wooden palette
• drill
• sandpaper
• hand saw
• wooden pegs
• wood glue
• paper bags
• paint
The Process:
Take apart the wooden palette, make sure you removed all the old nails. Cut the wood into different sizes with the help of a hand saw. Use sandpaper to sand down all the wooden pieces, then drill the pieces to the back piece of the tree. If you don’t own a drill, you can use wood glue instead, but make sure everything is dry before you continue your craft.
Paint your tree with the paint of your choice. You can leave it unpainted if you wish. Glue on the wooden pegs, and leave it to dry. Hook up the paper bags and fill them with exciting goodies. You can add some ribbon and fairy lights to give your tree an extra shine. Voila! You DIY Christmas advent calendar tree is ready!
