If you find yourself without a curling iron and your hair needs to be perfect, you can try this new trick that’s all over Instagram. Perhaps your curling iron just broke and you can’t go buy a new one right now or you forgot to pack it in your travel bag. Don’t panic; if you have a hairdryer and a water bottle you should be fine.
It all started with a video of a Malaysian woman using a water bottle to make curls. Thousands of women shared the video which then reached beauty magazines and exploded into a viral sensation. The process is simple – you cut off the top of a water bottle, make a hole on the side, then put your hair into it and blow with the hairdryer through the side hole. It will be much clearer if you see the video below.

- It should be made of thicker plastic
- You need to let your hair cool in the bottle before taking it out
