We’ve seen several hair colors emerge as the trendiest ones at the beginning of 2019, and Vogue and L’Oréal Paris eventually decided to join their forces and pick one hue to rule them all. They declared silver as the hair color of the year.
Orrea Light, vice president of global marketing product development and beauty innovation at L’Oréal, explained they’ve taken catwalks, social media and street styles all over the world into the account and eventually decided silver is a way to go.

This announcement was followed by a launch of L’Oréal’s “Hair Color of the Year” collection. Their latest line of products features a trio of silver shades for different looks and lifestyles, called Féria Smokey Silver, Superior Preference Soft Silver Blond and Colorista Hair Makeup Silver Blue.
