Irish author Cecilia Ahern shared an exciting tweet for all the fans who enjoyed her book P.S. I Love You. She finished a sequel to the story titled Postscript.

“I have BIG NEWS!” Ahern wrote on Twitter. “I’ve written the sequel to PS I LOVE YOU – titled POSTSCRIPT. POSTSCRIPT will be published September 19th in the UK & Ireland. I hope you’ll welcome back Holly… & Gerry…& that reading it will be as emotional for you as it was for me”

Ahern published P.S. I Love You in 2004, when she was 21. The novel follows Holly, a young widow whose husband Gerry died from brain tumor. Completely overtaken by grief, Holly realizes that Gerry has left her 10 letters to open after his death, each of them finishing with words “P.S. I Love You”.

In 2007, the novel was turned into a movie starring Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler, which made it even more popular.
