When the cold water hits your skin, your blood will release from your organs and come to the surface of your skin to try to warm it up. This alone will help improve your circulation which can up your heart healthy amongst other things.

Soreness

If you’re active or like to workout, a cold shower can do wonders for your muscles. In the same way that an ice bath helps athletes with achy muscles, a cold shower can do the same for you. The cold water can actually help heal your muscles quicker, which means a shorter turn around time.
