The Met Gala is known as fashion’s biggest night for a reason, and we can count on it to introduce us to countless red carpet trends. This year’s ceremony certainly delivered, and the dress code “The Garden of Time” inspired some pretty amazing looks and new fashion trends.

Florals for Spring

We expected a lot of floral looks at the Met Gala as soon as the theme was announced. Zendaya was one of the first stars to embrace this trend, and Gigi Hadid, Sydney Sweeney, Kerry Washington, and Nicki Minaj followed suit.

Sheer Dresses

Sheer dresses in sandy colors were going stronger than ever at the Met Gala. Tyla and Mindy Kaling evoked the sand of times with their beautiful gowns, while Jennifer Lopez, Doja Cat, Elle Fanning, and Janelle Monáe served sheer perfection.

Razzle Dazzle

Metallics, sparkles, and sequins were all the rage at the Met Gala. Gabrielle Union, Jennifer Lopez, Rachel Zegler, Kim Kardashian, Keke Palmer, and Anok Yai couldn’t resist their shine.

Gothic Vibes

Many stars at the Met Gala put a gothic twist on red carpet dressing with their edgy looks. Lana Del Rey, Dua Lipa, Cardi B, Kendall Jenner, Zendaya, and Bad Bunny were some of the stars putting gothic glamour on the map.
