The young actress had taken Hollywood by storm after landing key roles in two major blockbusters this year, and fashion experts are equally impressed by her red carpet choices.
The Aladdin actress is a style star in the making, and she’s walking the line between fairy tale elegance and millennial effortlessness with ease we don’t get to see often.
Scott’s fans were quick to notice that the color pattern of her outfits seems strangely familiar, and her stylist Zadrian Smith confirmed they were inspired by the most iconic Aladdin characters.
Scott admitted her personal style is a little bit more carefree than her red carpet looks may suggest. When she got a callback after her first audition for the live-adaptation of Disney classic, for example, she hit her local Topshop store to find a flowery dress that fits the part.
“It was light blue. I never wore it again. Cut to when I show up at the first rehearsal, and I’m wearing my Nike tracksuit. It was like, ‘This is the real me – haha, tricked you!’” recalled Naomi Scott in a cover story for W Magazine.
Her casual personal style didn’t stop her from delivering several epic red carpet looks, and we can’t wait to see what else she has in store once her next film, Charlie’s Angels, opens worldwide.
