]]> This year’s Met Gala was a stellar homage to Karl Lagerfeld’s legacy and it was one positively bridal affair. Many of the stars in attendance opted to wear dramatic white dresses, thus embracing the “Chanel bride” trend that Lagerfeld’s put on the map.

During his tenure as Chanel’s creative director, Lagerfeld would always close out the haute couture shows with bridal dresses. It was a true honor to walk the runway in one of Chanel’s white gowns, with Inès de La Fressange and Claudia Schiffer putting this trend on the map.

Dua Lipa did the best job bringing this classic runway trend to the Met Gala by rocking Chanel’s vintage tweed gown, originally worn by Claudia Schiffer in 1995. Gisele Bündchen was another star wearing vintage Chanel, but her 2007 gown was much more contemporary than Lipa’s

Kim Kardashian put her twist on this trend by wearing Schiaparelli’s pearly gown—another of Lagerfeld’s all-time signatures. Rihanna also looked positively bridal in Valentino’s floral white gown, following in the footsteps of Florence Pugh, who also wore a white Valentino dress.

Anne Hathaway delivered one of the best looks of the night in a Versace gown, which featured tweed, pearls, and safety pins. Many more celebrities hit the red carpet in white, from Mindy Kaling and Halle Bailey to Penelope Cruz and Ava Max, and here are some of their best looks.

Rihanna spent over two years working on a series of skincare products that work well with makeup. She’s always been “obsessed with beautiful, healthy skin”, and wanted to channel this passion into a brand-new beauty line that will introduce people to “the new culture of skincare.”

Rihanna also said that “whoever told you skincare has a gender, lied to you” because she believes everyone deserves to have great skin. That’s why Fenty Skin is going to be unisex, and the first promotional campaign features Lil Nas X and A$AP Rocky.

The singer and fashion mogul didn’t want to share this skincare line with the world until she made sure it’s absolutely perfect, and that moment is finally here. Fenty Skin will be launched on July 31st, exclusively at fentyskin.com.

]]> Rihanna just did a killer interview with the New York Times and revealed how she landed the collaboration with LVMH.

Rihanna’s collaboration with the fashion giants may be old news except, well, it isn’t. The singer-turned-entrepreneur made history when she became the first black woman in history to run a major luxury fashion house.

“I’ve been slowly evolving throughout the fashion world,” she explained. “First wearing it, buying it, being recognized for my style and then collaborating with brands. I never just wanted to put my name on something and sell my license.

“I’m very hands-on, so I wanted to take it slowly and gain respect as a designer. I already had a relationship with them after the Versailles campaign and the makeup line, so they extended the offer to me and it was a no-brainer because LVMH is a machine. Bernard Arnault was so enthusiastic; he trusted me and my vision.”

Rihanna also revealed that she is is her own muse. The collection aims to embrace a whole spectrum of character.

She said: “I  use myself as the muse. It’s sweatpants with pearls or a masculine denim jacket with a corset. I feel like we live in a world where people are embracing every bit of who they are. Look at Jaden Smith, Childish Gambino. They dare you to tell them not to.”

Rihanna’s LMVH Fenty Fashion brand will launch at a Paris pop-up today.

Fenty Beauty’s inclusive concealer launch was one of the best beauty products to come out of 2018. Now, the pop sensation is making history by taking her brand to the high fashion market.

The Fenty creator has joined LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, aka the largest luxury group in the world. The collaboration will bring an exciting new range to be released later this month.

Rihanna said in a statement: “Designing a line like this with LVMH is an incredibly special moment for us. [Bernard Arnault, LVMH CEO] has given me a unique opportunity to develop a fashion house in the luxury sector, with no artistic limits. I couldn’t imagine a better partner both creatively and business-wise, and I’m ready for the world to see what we have built together.”

The whole craze over the skincare line began back in 2017 when a fan noticed that Rihanna filed a trademark registration for House of Fenty. In March this year, she did the same thing for Fenty skin and the document states: “medicated and non-medicated skin care, soap, body care, and personal care products (excluding color cosmetics, perfume, and other fragrance-only products), and related accessories such as kits, tools, and applicators.”

Now that everyone is raving about the latest project of Fenty Beauty, we are also very impatient to see what queen Rih has up her sleeve. There is no official news on when we can expect the drop, but it will for sure be amazing. The whole process for the trademark can take up to three months, so maybe we can expect something new in June.

]]> After conquering the world of beauty and fashion, Rihanna is ready to completely change the way we look at skincare. Her new skincare brand Fenty Skin is almost here, and it’s aimed at everyone who wants to have great skin, regardless of gender.

Rihanna spent over two years working on a series of skincare products that work well with makeup. She’s always been “obsessed with beautiful, healthy skin”, and wanted to channel this passion into a brand-new beauty line that will introduce people to “the new culture of skincare.”

Rihanna also said that “whoever told you skincare has a gender, lied to you” because she believes everyone deserves to have great skin. That’s why Fenty Skin is going to be unisex, and the first promotional campaign features Lil Nas X and A$AP Rocky.

The singer and fashion mogul didn’t want to share this skincare line with the world until she made sure it’s absolutely perfect, and that moment is finally here. Fenty Skin will be launched on July 31st, exclusively at fentyskin.com.

This past weekend the singer wore a head-to-toe Christian Dior look, that we only wish we could afford. ]]> Rihanna just did a killer interview with the New York Times and revealed how she landed the collaboration with LVMH.

Rihanna’s collaboration with the fashion giants may be old news except, well, it isn’t. The singer-turned-entrepreneur made history when she became the first black woman in history to run a major luxury fashion house.

“I’ve been slowly evolving throughout the fashion world,” she explained. “First wearing it, buying it, being recognized for my style and then collaborating with brands. I never just wanted to put my name on something and sell my license.

“I’m very hands-on, so I wanted to take it slowly and gain respect as a designer. I already had a relationship with them after the Versailles campaign and the makeup line, so they extended the offer to me and it was a no-brainer because LVMH is a machine. Bernard Arnault was so enthusiastic; he trusted me and my vision.”

Rihanna also revealed that she is is her own muse. The collection aims to embrace a whole spectrum of character.

She said: “I  use myself as the muse. It’s sweatpants with pearls or a masculine denim jacket with a corset. I feel like we live in a world where people are embracing every bit of who they are. Look at Jaden Smith, Childish Gambino. They dare you to tell them not to.”

Rihanna’s LMVH Fenty Fashion brand will launch at a Paris pop-up today.

Fenty Beauty’s inclusive concealer launch was one of the best beauty products to come out of 2018. Now, the pop sensation is making history by taking her brand to the high fashion market.

The Fenty creator has joined LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, aka the largest luxury group in the world. The collaboration will bring an exciting new range to be released later this month.

Rihanna said in a statement: “Designing a line like this with LVMH is an incredibly special moment for us. [Bernard Arnault, LVMH CEO] has given me a unique opportunity to develop a fashion house in the luxury sector, with no artistic limits. I couldn’t imagine a better partner both creatively and business-wise, and I’m ready for the world to see what we have built together.”

This time, Fenty announced a range of gorgeous neon vibrant eyeliners. The whole craze over the skincare line began back in 2017 when a fan noticed that Rihanna filed a trademark registration for House of Fenty. In March this year, she did the same thing for Fenty skin and the document states: “medicated and non-medicated skin care, soap, body care, and personal care products (excluding color cosmetics, perfume, and other fragrance-only products), and related accessories such as kits, tools, and applicators.”

Now that everyone is raving about the latest project of Fenty Beauty, we are also very impatient to see what queen Rih has up her sleeve. There is no official news on when we can expect the drop, but it will for sure be amazing. The whole process for the trademark can take up to three months, so maybe we can expect something new in June.
