Another BET Awards ceremony is behind us and it gave us more amazing red carpet looks than we can count. Several major trends emerged during this ceremony, and these five were leading the way.
Purple Dresses
Celebrities can’t get enough of purple and royal blue dresses these days, and Zendaya and Saweetie gave us pretty similar gowns in this color at the BET Awards.
Shiny Jumpsuits
Shiny jumpsuits were all the rage at this ceremony. Ciara’s Alexandre Vauthier combo is a case in point, while Cardi B even used her bedazzled black Dolce & Gabbana jumpsuit to reveal her baby bump.
Sheer Details
Cardi B wasn’t the only star whose outfit incorporated sheer details. Chloe Bailey, Summer Walker, and H.E.R. also fully embraced this trend.

Dresses with dramatic slits are never going out of style, and Megan Thee Stallion and Taraji P. Henson were among the stars taking this trend to a whole new level at BET Awards.
